The Challenge
Automation is often see as a threat to job security. In stead, it should be seen as a tool that helps people get their jobs done faster, most easily, and with a higher level of quality.
The following goals will be met by the new Turbine SaaS suite:- Improve inventory turns.
- Accurately measure real-time production line efficiency.
- Motivate employees to measure and improve their performance.
- Eliminate the need for manual throughput tracking and human error.
The Solution
A control panel:
The back-end administration portal allows administrators to manage users, reset passwords, manage data, observe usage and analytics, and perform a variety of other routine tasks.
One of the greatest benefits of the new platform is staff empowerment. It is in everyone’s best interests to ensure that we deliver a self-sustainable solution that can be managed in perpetuity by employees without needing to engage a technical development team each time a change is needed.

Cognitive Computer Vision:
The Turbine Alert video intelligence system is capable of monitoring video in near real – time to analyze people, objects, and motion. The system is designed to hone in on factory lines, managed by bounding boxes configuring by the floor supervisor.
Object moving down the line are tracked individually and converted into analytics and counters that feed directly back to the business dashboards in real – time.
The system is intelligent enough to distinguish between trackable packaged products and ignores untracked objects based on visual anchors that are configured by the operator when setting up the line.

Business intelligence Dashboard:
The live productivity dashboard tracks key metrics each day and aggegate productivity information over longer periods of time. Productivity can be reviewed daily, week to date, month to date, quarterly, or annually.
Specific product lines can be analyzed over time to compare current productivity levels with past levels regardless of the physical locations of the lines. These details can help identify maximum throughput, peak throughput, line acceleration time, and downtime analytics.
